At New Hope Eastlake, we offer sports leagues as a way to teach character development and spiritual values.
For Elementary Children (Grades 1-6)
New Hope Basketball & Cheer League
New Hope uses sports to communicate God’s love to each child while building up their self-esteem. A family-friendly event, the League provides a fun kid sports experience based on healthy competition. Basketball players learn sport skills and values, have
equal playing time, and all will make new friends. Cheerleaders are taught various routines and will learn new cheers. The league runs from December to February with one practice a week and one game on Saturdays.
Open to boys & girls Grades 1-6
Early registration $105 ($115 after Oct 15)
League dates: Nov 29 - Feb 26
Evaluation/Orientation: Saturday Nov 6 or Nov 13
For Middle School Girls (Grades 6-8)
This league is designed to help middle school girls learn volleyball skills in a fun, nurturing Christian atmosphere. There is only one practice during the week and one game a week which is played on Saturday mornings. Leagues run from March to May in the spring and September to November in the fall.
Half-day, week-long camps are held:
Volleyball – January and July (for middle school girls, grades 6-8)
New Hope Basketball & Cheer – June
