At New Hope Eastlake, we offer sports leagues as a way to teach character development and spiritual values.
GIRLS MIDDLE SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE
SPRING & FALL 2020 | GIRLS (GRADES 6-8)
This league is designed to help middle school girls learn volleyball skills in a fun, nurturing Christian atmosphere. There is only one practice during the week and one game a week which is played on Saturday mornings.
Spring Volleyball League runs March-May

BASKETBALL & CHEER LEAGUE
NOVEMBER 2019 - FEBRUARY 2020 | ELEMENTARY CHILDREN (GRADES 1-6)
New Hope uses sports to communicate God’s love to each child while building up their self-esteem. A family-friendly event, the League is open to boys and girls, 1st through 6th grades. The League provide a fun kid sports experience based on healthy competition. Basketball players learn sport skills and values, kids will make new friends, and all players have equal playing time. Cheerleaders are taught various routines and will learn new cheers. The League runs from November to February with one practice a week and one game on Saturday. Registration is open now!

Players receive a quality game uniform (including shorts) to look like a “pro,” practice t-shirt, sports bottle and more
Cheerleaders receive a cheer uniform, t-shirt, sports bottle and more.
Evaluations are Saturday, November 2 and Saturday, November 9 (choose one) and allow one hour:
1st and 2nd grade boys/girls: 9am
3rd and 4th grade boys/girls: 10am
5th and 6th grade boys/girls: 11am

BASKETBALL & CHEER SUMMER CAMP
GRADES 1-6 | JUNE 2020
New Hope's Basketball & Cheer Summer Camp provides a fun kid sports experience based on healthy competition. Our camp teaches sport skills and values, allows kids to make new friends, and provides equal playing time. Players rotate through stations which focus on specific skills. Cheerleaders rotate through different stations and work on cheers, routines, and crafts. The one-week camp is held in June, with registration opening in April.
ABOUT OUR COACHES & VOLUNTEERS
Our program is made possible by our fantastic volunteer team. Because your child’s safety is always the highest priority at New Hope, our volunteers all undergo a thorough background check through Live Scan. Volunteers are provided with the training and support that they need, and also with class materials.
