At New Hope Eastlake, we offer sports leagues as a way to teach character development and spiritual values.


For Middle School Girls (Grades 6-8)

Volleyball League

This league is designed to help middle school girls learn volleyball skills in a fun, nurturing Christian atmosphere. There is only one practice during the week and one game a week which is played on Saturday mornings. Leagues run from March to May in the spring and September to November in the fall.



  • League runs August 15 - October 29

  • Cost $125 

  • Fee includes practice and game t-shirts)

  • Players must pre-register and attend one evaluation/orientation on Saturday, August 6 or August 13 

  • Choose a time slot for sizing, orientation, drills and skills evaluation (limited space in each time slot): 9:00 am, 10:30 am or 12:00 pm

  • (No other make-up days for evals)

  • Team placement will take place following evaluations on August 13.

  • Girls will be contacted on August 14 by their coach for practice days and times (Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday).

  • Important Dates:

    • First practice: Week of August 15

    • First game: Saturday, September 10 (all games played on Saturday mornings)

    • Last game: Saturday, October 29

For Elementary Children (Grades 1-6)

New Hope Basketball & Cheer League

New Hope uses sports to communicate God’s love to each child while building up their self-esteem. A family-friendly event, the League provides a fun kid sports experience based on healthy competition. Basketball players learn sport skills and values, have

equal playing time, and all will make new friends. Cheerleaders are taught various routines and will learn new cheers.  The league runs from December to February with one practice a week and one game on Saturdays.

Sport Tactics

Day Camps

Half-day, week-long camps are held:

  • Volleyball – January and July (for middle school girls, grades 6-8)

  • New Hope Basketball & Cheer – June



  • Monday - Thursday, June 27 - June 30, 9am to noon 

  • Cost $115

  • ​Camp is open to boys and girls entering grades 1 through 6 in the 2022-23 school year

  • Included in registration fee: Basketball players will receive basketball, t-shirt, and sports bottle, more; cheerleaders will receive pom-poms, t-shirt, sports bottle, more.

  • Camp provides a fun kid sports experience based on healthy competition. Our camp will teach sport skills and values, allow kids to make new friends, and provide equal playing time.

  • Players will rotate through stations which focus on specific skills. Cheerleaders will rotate through different stations and work on cheers, routines, and crafts.
